tarot level 2

Valerie Friend is back with a 200-level Tarot course that will have you thinking about divination in new ways!

In this six-week short course, we will be looking more deeply into the Major Arcana, defining archetypes, and bringing more magick to our readings. You will leave this class with more confidence in reading professionally. Additionally, your personal practice will have more depth and meaning.

This class will focus mainly on Archetypes, symbolism in the Pamala Coleman Smith artwork, how to read timing questions, and enhancing our intuition in utilizing the tool of tarot.. Working individually and in groups, we will explore the ins and outs of timing questions, symbolism, story lines, and delivering a message in a clear but kind manner. Students will be expected to commit to reading for another person once each week. This will culminate in a video submission of a reading that will be used as your final project

We will be working deeply with the cards in establishing our own meditation practice using a selected card. This not only gives you insight INTO traditional meanings, but ALSO allows you to receive guidance from your spiritual team.

• Knowledge of Wheel of the Year and how Symbolism play a part in readings

• How to bring your own intuition into your Tarot related activities

This is not the class for new readers. If you have taken my Intro to Tarot class or if you consider yourself to be a good intro level reader, then this class is right for you.

We will be using the Ride Waite Smith deck for our collective learning, but other decks will be explored as well. New spreads, deeper reliance on intuition, and confidence-building will be added to your Tarot toolbox.
