MY "WHY": The synthesis of the ancient wisdom teachings and transmissions of an unbroken lineage combined with the contemporary teachings of meditation, inquiry and modern mysticism fuel my ability to guide students into the answers that lie buried like treasure within their questions. I am masterful, with a laser like sharpness, at helping those who come to me to See, Feel, and ReMember their own Radiance.
In our Western culture, we are presently experiencing the highest rates ever of depression, anxiety, and loneliness; these are all symptoms that contribute to many people feeling an emptiness inside; a disconnection within, a lack of fulfillment in meaning and purpose in their lives, and the absence of Joy.
Many people hide their suffering and use energy to uphold a false persona of satisfaction, yet when they arrive home, often their lives behind closed doors look very different.
To manage the discomfort of suffering, people turn to habits, addictions, and patterned ways of being in order to change the way they are feeling in the short term.
Over time, these coping methods will cost you something - often in the quality of our connections in our relationships, and increased anxiety and constant tension. It becomes unbearable eventually to feel so trapped and disconnected from Joy.
My passion is helping clients and students ReDiscover who and what they ‘really are’, to reconnect with their own inherent self worth, and Goodness. It’s my passion to support others as they embark on the inner journey of falling - very truthfully - in love with themselves, and to help them relearn how to nourish and cherish themselves so they can honestly nourish others. I am honored to support students to Feel, with their whole Being, the experience of the ‘Rapture of Being Alive’.
My Sacred Work is to help You ReCognize your Self.
To help You ReMember your magnificent Goodness, your Beauty, and your Power.
When the mind of the student becomes very very Clear, all that remains is;
and the repeated question to others; ‘How may I Be useful for You right Now...?’
My Vision of our capacity as a Humanity is a world where all beings are living in and as Connection, Purpose, Joy, & Service.
When we Awaken ourself to our True Nature as Kindness & Clarity, we can Awaken ourselves as our Kindest Humanity.
MY CONVICTION: "Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional" and "Everyone’s True Nature is inherent Goodness, & Kindness, and Love."

Pennee squier barresi
My Experience: In May of 2017, I completed my RYT 200 hour teaching certificate through Yoga Farm, Lansing, NY and in June of 2018, I completed a 30 hour Restorative Yoga training at Kripalu with Judith Hanson Lasater. I have been teaching meditative, gentle flow classes and now a Restorative Yoga class at Yoga Farm since then. I have received my fourth level Heart Path Reiki initiation and offer private Reiki sessions. Now retired, I served in public education for 30 years as a School Psychologist. During that time, I began my exploration into the many benefits of Mindfulness as an extension of my own mediation practice.
My “WHY”: Through my yoga practice, I have come to recognize how the quality of my life can change when I respond from love rather than react from fear. Discovering that yoga is really not so much about self-improvement, rather it is about a radical self-acceptance with fierce compassionate, opened me to my own self-love. It is a honor for me to offer support to others on their journey.
My Conviction: Loving yourself with all your heart, will allow you to truly love all sentient beings on this Earth. Yoga is that path.
MY EXPERIENCE: Coming Soon
MY "WHY": Coming Soon
MY CONVICTION: Coming Soon
MY EXPERIENCE: With over 20 years teaching group fitness and a long time desire to complete yoga teacher training, I completed my RYT 200-hour teaching certification through the School for Radiant Living in April 2019. I attended the Fingerlakes School of Massage, have completed the Radiance Course at Yoga Farm and am currently enrolled in their Heartful Warrior Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher Training for certification in Mindfulness, Mediation and QiGong. I recently completed CEU’s for a Kundalini Immersion and continue to attend courses/classes in Kundalini every chance I get!
I am a certified Star Level 3 Spinning and SpinPower instructor and have been an instructor at Cornell University for Indoor Cycling Physical Education. I am also TRX qualified, and certified through Les Mills in Body Pump (barbell class), RPM (cycling) and Core. I continue to teach classes for Yoga Farm, Cornell University and Island Health & Fitness.
By day, I work as the Director of Finance and Production at Cornell University Press, a publisher of scholarly books and since 1869 noted as the first American university press.
MY “WHY”: My journey as a teacher has been one of curiosity and exploration. I have a lifelong passion for learning and believe knowledge is wasted if it is not shared. Teaching yoga is like being the wind or a pebble creating a ripple effect on the water. The ripple being what connects us as human beings from our heart. Yoga is not just about doing poses and teaching yoga is not just about instructing movement. It’s about connection. I love being a part of exposing yoga to others especially those who think they can’t do it or don’t have access to it. I teach to help people remember to breathe, to pause and to love and accept the perfection as they are.
MY CONVICTION: Yoga is for everybody. “Every body is yoga body”! It’s not about the shape you have, it’s about shaping what is within. Yoga cultivates well-being, harmony, acceptance and healing.
MY EXPERIENCE: I am devoted Yogi and love many yoga styles, from the slow and inward practice of Yin Yoga to a very active Vinyasa class. I have practiced yoga for the last 10 years exploring Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Restorative Yoga. I finished my 200-hour certification at Yoga Farm in April of 2019. When I am not on the mat I am running, farming, or playing in the snow with my huskie, Maddie. I use my background as a former Special Education Teacher to help everyone feel at home in their practice.
MY “WHY”: Yoga has been there for me throughout all the joys and challenges of my life. Through Vinyasa and Hatha yoga I found my personal power. After years of a fulfilling active practice, Yin yoga transformed my life by allowing my body to heal from chronic stress, clear and free my mind, and connect more deeply with myself and others. It is the greatest honor to guide others on their yoga journey.
MY CONVICTION: Through yoga, I have found that wellness is truly possible.
