Hedge Witches Assemble: A Samhain Gathering at the Crossroads
Welcome to Witch Camp…
an immersion in magic, ritual, and embodied practice, set in the haunting beauty of New Orleans, Louisiana. As October wanes and the year turns toward darkness, we gather to honor Samhain (pronounced SOW-when), the witch’s New Year, with our YF family.
Held in one of the most spiritually charged cities in the world, this experience invites play, depth, and transformation. Through Kundalini yoga, ritual, and earth-honoring practices, we will work with intention, community, and the unseen forces that move beneath the surface of our lives. This is a time to listen, to remember, and to consciously shape what comes next.
Samhain: The Witch’s New Year
In earth-based spirituality, Samhain marks the beginning of the Wheel of the Year, this is a threshold moment when what has been planted is already harvested, and the land prepares for rest.
The leaves fall. The air thickens. The work is reviewed.
In ritual and rebirthing, we will reflect on what you have created, released, and transformed since spring, honoring what is ready to be stored, composted, or laid to rest. This is a time of reckoning, gratitude, and truth-telling, a sacred pause before rebirth.
You are invited into stillness, clarity, and intentional closure.
The Liminal: When the Veil Grows Thin
The end of October is a liminal season, a time between times. In folklore and magical traditions, this is when the veil between worlds is thinnest; when spirit, and intuition are more easily accessed.
New Orleans itself is a city of thresholds: life and death, land and water, past and future.
Together, we will step into this in-between space to honor our ancestors, explore the ways our histories live in our bodies, and acknowledge how lineage, both chosen and inherited, shapes who we are becoming.
Through guided ritual and Kundalini practices aligned with the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, we will:
Heal collective and personal ancestral wounds
Activate ancestral gifts and inner knowing
Offer gratitude to those who came before us
Make vows to the generations yet to come
This is remembrance as medicine.
Covens, Friendship & the Wisdom of Place Based Transformation
Witch Camp is a space for deep connection, to self, to community, and to the land beneath our feet. We carefully and intentionally curate experiences that honor the land where we visit.
Spend full days in community: sharing meals, stories, laughter, ritual, and rest. Make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and experience the alchemy that happens when intentional space meets collective energy.
Inspired by history, Spanish moss, moonlit nights, and the elemental power of earth, we will explore the symbolism of the season and learn how to weave these energies into meaningful ritual. New Orleans is our teacher, and our mirror.
Join us in a restorative communal and trauma-informed healing experience. All levels are welcome. No kundalini experience is necessary.

Student Reviews
The Yoga Farm retreat I went on was a life changing experience. I felt loved, accepted, cared for, and inspired the entire time. For me, it was the culmination of years of practice in self-healing, awareness and growth. It was a time and place which gave me the space to explore that growth in a loving, supportive, safe and BEAUTIFUL environment. It cultivated and inspired the motivation I needed in order to make significant life changes. The lessons I learned there helped to guide me on my path towards chasing my joy and trusting my deepest intuitions. Yoga Farm is a family and community unlike any other. I cannot wait for the next retreat!

On my retreat with YFI, everything that I needed to support my journey of healing and growth was available: delicious, nourishing meals, wise and generous teachers and compassionate community. I gained clarity of purpose and am now able to embrace ALL of who I am and the incredible opportunities that await.

What I learned on retreat with Yoga Farm
Chanting is now an act of time travel.
A space I re-enter any time I'm in need.
Where I feel each of you in my bones, in my cells, in my soul.
You inspire laughter and tears and remind me of the full spectrum of this existence.
And I remember all the pieces that make me whole.
The pieces that were reflected back to me, gifted to me.
And I return home.
