Mountain Alchemy  REtreat ~ Puerto Rico

Qi-Gong & Breathwork Retreat

Feb 22- 27, 2027
Qigong & Conscious Breathwork Retreat

Regulate. Circulate. Refine

A Retreat for Nervous System Intelligence

This is not an intensity-driven immersion.
This is a recalibration.

In the cool air of Puerto Rico’s central mountains, surrounded by rivers, forest canopy, and ancient stone, we gather to restore coherence to breath and Qi.

Stabilization comes first.
Expansion follows naturally.

Over time in retreat, you will enter a structured and supportive container designed to re-tune your system through Qigong, conscious breathwork, and land-based embodiment. The pace is intentional. The practices are progressive. The environment is held.

This is refinement, to release the overwhelm.

The Setting

We will gather in the lush central mountains near a region known for its temperate climate, river valleys, and dense forest canopy.

Expect:

• Mountain-view rooms
• Pool and communal spaces
• Covered outdoor practice platforms
• Walking trails, waterfalls, and flowing river access

The land itself is part of the teaching.

Who This Retreat Is For

This retreat is designed for practitioners, teachers, and embodied leaders who:

• Feel the call to regulate before expanding
• Want to deepen their relationship with Qi beyond surface-level practice
• Seek breath protocols that are grounded, adaptable, and trauma-aware
• Value structure, safety, and intelligent progression
• Desire connection to land, history, and inner transformation

The Immersion Includes

Each day is held in a steady container: activation, application, integration.

Cultural Grounding

• Reflection on continuity, resilience, and place

This is not tourism.
It is a respectful engagement woven into the spirit of our time together.

Are You Ready to Return to Your Breath?

This retreat is intentionally intimate.
Spaces are limited to preserve depth, attention, and safety.

If you feel the quiet recognition, this container is for you.

We gather to regulate.
We circulate.
We refine.

Join us in the mountains.

All levels are welcome.
No prior Qigong or breathwork experience is required, only willingness to engage sincerely.

ABOUT Casa Alternivada

Inspired by seeing guests transform.

The Casa Alternavida team is brought together by shared purpose and passion for personal growth. They have fun working together as diverse individuals, learning and growing alongside their guests.

Located at the Southern tip of the Bermuda triangle, they are strategically aligned so guests often feel time expand and their busy, stressful outside world disappear.

Geographically, the retreat is nestled between the El Yunque National Rainforest and the warm, turquoise ocean water, so it’s easy to experience the cycle of fresh mountain rainwater in the river, on down to where it pours into the ocean.

Founded on the principle that there are healthier, “alternative” ways to balance life and work, the Spanish words alterna (alternative) and vida (life) were combined to create our business name, Casa Alternavida. The alternative is to stop the unconscious addiction to stress, overwhelm, and struggle to instead focus on a healthy, balanced lifestyle that yields better results. They do their best to walk their own talk in how they show up to work each day, resourced, passionate, and curious about what exciting things might unfold.

Student Reviews

The Yoga Farm retreat I went on was a life changing experience. I felt loved, accepted, cared for, and inspired the entire time. For me, it was the culmination of years of practice in self-healing, awareness and growth. It was a time and place which gave me the space to explore that growth in a loving, supportive, safe and BEAUTIFUL environment.  It cultivated and inspired the motivation I needed in order to make significant life changes. The lessons I learned there helped to guide me on my path towards chasing my joy and trusting my deepest intuitions. Yoga Farm is a family and community unlike any other. I cannot wait for the next retreat!

  • Heather G

On my retreat with YFI, everything that I needed to support my journey of healing and growth was available: delicious, nourishing meals, wise and generous teachers and compassionate community. I gained clarity of purpose and am now able to embrace ALL of who I am and the incredible opportunities that await.

  • Deborah D

What I learned on retreat with Yoga Farm

Chanting is now an act of time travel.
A space I re-enter any time I'm in need.
Where I feel each of you in my bones, in my cells, in my soul.
You inspire laughter and tears and remind me of the full spectrum of this existence.
And I remember all the pieces that make me whole.
The pieces that were reflected back to me, gifted to me.
And I return home.
