Radiant Warrior Yoga Course 3: Flow

“Being in Harmony with Life” (an exploration of Taoist Yoga, including QiGong and Yin Yoga, and the practical Wisdom of the Tao)

The next Radiant Warrior Yoga Course: ‘Flow’, will be led by Christopher. This course has a similar format to our previous courses. Each class in this 10-week course will have physical movement, weekly lessons and discussion in class on practical applications of the wisdom in the lessons. We learn with and from each other.

It will meet Wednesday evenings from 5:45-7:15pm, starting January 23. Prior to the course starting, on any Wednesday evening, 5:45-7pm, you are welcome to join our chi gong / yin yoga class as a guest and experience an introduction to this new course along with the movement practices.

For the movement side, we’ll bring together two new technologies: Chi Gung and Yin Yoga. The dynamic, flowing movements in a Chi Gung (aka QiGong) sequence cultivate ease of breath, health and vitality. The second half will be a deep dive into on-the-ground Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga flows deeply into the connective tissue, bringing healing and relief to low back or hip pain, in a quiet, meditative practice.

Together, these two healing modalities will generate natural health and great vitality in the body.

On the lesson side, we’ll be opening up study of one of the world’s foremost philosophical systems, the Tao. (Pronounced ‘Dao’)

Our book for this course is by my dear teacher, the late Wayne Dyer, called ‘Change your thoughts, change your life’ - Living the Wisdom of the Tao.

Radiant Warrior Yoga 1: CENTER

In the first course of the series, running now, Christopher teaches a moderate Qigong and hatha yoga set that everyone can do, purifying breathwork to energize the body or calm the mind (or both!), and instinctive meditations to connect you to your inner calm.

Radiant Warrior Yoga 1 teaches all aspects of the path of yoga as taught in the yoga sutras in a very practical way. And, we'll show you flexible ways to practice these effective techniques at home - in as little as 5 minutes a day!

This course will likely be offered again in the SPRING.

The focus of this course is to open, stretch, and strengthen the entire body, in as little as a half hour a day. We have selected poses that most people can practice, regardless of age or fitness, and teach them mindfully so they can be practiced safely in the studio or at home with confidence and ease.

About Intuitive Meditation:

We approach teaching meditation, by dispelling and debunking myths about meditation, that have incorrectly taught that meditation is about stopping the thoughts.
