Mama baby yoga is a loving, sweet and safe space for moms to nourish themselves through gentle stretches and strengthening while bonding with baby postpartum.
Meets: 6 Thursdays from noon to 1:15pm at Yoga Farm
Babies will be engaged throughout class yet this series is designed to focus on some quiet moments of self care for moms to welcome their own inner peace and gratitude. In addition to yoga postures you will be learning different breath work to assist and grow with the challenges we face as caregivers.
Additionally, moms will learn some singing meditations and songs that can be used to help soothe baby. Little ones may be asleep throughout class, feed, or play on a blanket next to your mat. It is a very natural flow and there is no expectation for mom and baby other than to be present.
Herbal tea will be served at the end of class and we will dedicate this time to community and connection. The ideal age for babies is 6 weeks to crawling and yoga is accessible to all levels.
