The practice of yoga may have transformed your life, and brought you to heightened states of awareness and aliveness. However, often as teachers, we reach a plateau in our offerings.

These modules assist yoga teachers reconnect to their why, enhance their skill set, continue their learning and healing, and cultivate a capacity to abide in the field of awareness and being.


yoga of meditation, asana and breath Module A:

You will learn to practice and teach masterful asana. We’ll break down and study advanced poses including inversions, deep backbends, challenging arm balances and more. Hands on practice with adjustments and assists will support your teaching incredible group classes and will bring you the skills to teach healing and transformative 1-on-1 sessions.

Teaching Advanced Yoga Immersion

You will learn to practice and teach masterful asana. We’ll break down and study advanced poses including inversions, deep backbends, challenging arm balances and more. Hands on practice with adjustments and assists will support your teaching incredible group classes and will bring you the skills to teach healing and transformative 1-on-1 sessions.

For advancing yoga teachers who are ready to continue their own personal and professional development. This immersion offers the opportunity to engage the deeper essence of yogic teachings, as well as learning to embody and teach more challenging postures. You’ll come away with the cues, alignment and confidence to teach an additional 8-12 poses in your classes.

This immersion offers the rare gift of an intimate, safe and challenging container in which you will receive reflection time and lean into the teachings. While you advance your understanding and practice of the forms of yoga; asana, meditation, pranayama, etc., you will also experience what is beyond them.

Excellent private yoga and group sessions include hands-on-assists and adjustments, so we will study consent and the cooperative environment you’ll cultivate as a key part of your teaching.

Teaching Private Yoga Sessions Masterfully - Yoga as Healing Art

Develop and learn how to teach transformational 1-on-1 sessions. Learn how these are completely different than a group class and gain specific skills to teach private sessions well.

While group classes in a gym or studio may be an excellent first step on your career path, there are other ways to earn and give.

Learn to observe, be with one student in all the facets of their experience. Transformation happens from the inside out, so you’ll practice holding space for each other in our workshop as you move and stretch and breathe in new ways.


yoga of meditation, asana and breath: Module B

Raja yoga is the yoga of meditation, in this module, we take the ‘work’ inward, studying yin yoga, meditation and breathing practices to heal and rejuvenate body and mind. You’ll immerse in your inner world, your connection to Divinity, and learn to guide others through the labyrinth of their own lives and bodies.

Yin Yoga Immersion

Yin Yoga, also known as Taoist Yoga, is a healing variation of yoga loosely based on Chinese Medicine, that incorporates acupressure, meridian therapy, fascia release and connective tissue hydration to cultivate a deeply quiet, meditative state. This is a growing style of yoga that is popular in many studios now as an antidote to ‘busy-ness’ in the mind and to the aging of the body. This is a nourishing, healing practice and you will learn to practice and teach.

Modules include eastern and western anatomy lessons specific to this style of yoga or topic, so you can be more skillful with your students.

Guiding Meditation and Pranayama in your classes

Meditation and pranayama are essential skills for your evolution as a teacher. If you aren’t comfortable enough with meditation and breathwork to delight in the practice, you won’t be confident to share these practices with students.

There are literally thousands of different kinds of meditative techniques. With just the right meditation approach and instruction, your meditation will become effortless, easeful, and something you will truthfully look forward to. When you discover the specific meditation practice that you relish, meditation will then become a time to be with yourself, for healing, inspiration, integration, for rest.

yoga of meditation, asana and breath: Module C

QiGong and the Universal Healing Tao Immersion

QiGong is an incredible complement to your yoga teaching. A deeply healing and nourishing practice in its own right, skillful use of QiGong can also be a perfect way to bring variety into the warmup or cooldown sections of your classes. Moving effortless with awareness instead of forcing is a key benefit to your life of this practice.

The Universal Healing Tao is a broad set of movement and meditation practices to active and circulate healing energy, and flush stagnant or murky energy and stressors from the body.

This module will teach you both - QiGong movement sets that you can teach in any environment (it can be done in street clothes standing up), as well as healing meditations such as the Inner Smile, the 6 Healing Sounds and the Microcosmic Orbit.


yoga of love and devotion MODULE A

In this module you will have the pleasure of experiencing and learning to guide people into the practice of Bhakti yoga, with an added bonus of Kundalini elements to incorporate into your yoga classes. You’ll immerse in ‘bhakti’ the path of devotion, including using your voice in chanting, practicing kriyas to clear your mind, and exploring both guided and intuitive movements that will uplift your life.

Kundalini + Bhakti Yoga Immersion

In this module you will have the pleasure of experiencing and learning to guide people into the practice of Bhakti yoga, with an added bonus of Kundalini kriyas and flows to incorporate into your yoga classes. You’ll learn to teach a specific, introductory Kundalini yoga set safely.

This weekend is transformative and for teachers who want to advance their own inner radiance in order to connect deeply to themselves and light the path for others to do the same. At the end of this module you will be skilled in leading fun, challenging and inspiring classes. It also will prepare you to be a more well rounded yoga teacher. This is an opportunity of self exploration.


yoga of love and devotion MODULE b

Unlock your devotion with Kirtan also learn how to open your voice to Kirtan, bringing chanting and song into your life, your classes and your service work.

You’ll discover why Kirtan, chanting sacred songs, is a potent access for so many to the Direct Experience of Grace and Divinity. Learn a little Sanskrit and the origins of many popular songs, chants and bhajans from many traditions, including songs in English!


yoga of service and action MODULE A:

Trauma informed yoga and mindfulness - yoga for every body

Trauma-informed yoga is based on a particular understanding of trauma, one that emphasizes its impact on the entire mind-body system, as opposed to particular mental states (e.g., troubling memories) viewed in isolation from the physical body. “Trauma,” Bessel van der Kolk explains, “is not just an event that took place sometime in the past; it is also the imprint left by that experience on mind, brain, and body.

Drawing from neuroscience, developmental psychology, and interpersonal neurobiology, this view of trauma considers body-based therapeutic methods, such as trauma-informed yoga, to be at least equal in importance to more traditional therapies, like talk therapy.

You’ll learn to presence and compassion toward those of differing abilities, sensitivity to their needs, and ways to skillfully guide them in the process of healing and reconnecting with their own bodies.


yoga of service and action MODULE B:

This module is geared to yoga teachers who want to use their gifts as a teacher as service and outreach in different settings. It will prepare you to teach in schools, shelters, hospitals, refugee service centers, human service settings, prisons, jails and detention facilities. You’ll immerse in understanding of your own needs for self-care, and how to prepare and maintain yourself for a lifetime of joyful service through group exercises and restorative yoga.

Yoga & Mindfulness for Service (In Schools and non studio environments)

As yoga teachers, we may be easily ready and comfortable to teach in studios and gym environments, or in a private setting. This module is geared to yoga teachers who want to use their gifts as a teacher as service and outreach in different settings. It will prepare you to teach yoga and mindfulness in schools, shelters, hospitals, refugee service centers, human service settings, prisons, jails and detention facilities.

To address the need for yoga teachers and trainers to receive proper training AS yoga service and to ensure that high quality yoga is available to diverse communities in service settings, we are offering this module to equip yoga teachers with the necessary tools, language and confidence. This module will balance skill acquisition with self care and sustainable service models.

Restorative Yoga Immersion

Our restorative yoga module will give you the tools to help students move into a state of being that is away from the “normal” daily mind/body activity state. Through the energies of the body, and specific anatomical pathways, restorative yoga facilitates a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Moving though the full range of movements of the spine; backbends, forward bends, twists and inversions, in a supportive environment.  You will understand the use of and creativity found with bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks and eye pillows. This module with help you be prepared teach your students how to unwind and move into the parasympathetic nervous system that facilitates healing rest.

This is as much for you as it is for your students. A path of service and action requires the support of deep healing and rest, for yourself, on a regular basis. Restorative yoga is a great way to ‘take the oxygen first’.


yoga of knowledge and awareness MODULE a:

Radiant Living & Power of Awareness Retreat

The first step in Awareness is to observe yourself, observe when you are effortlessly content, or feel agitated or tense.

From there, you will be taught what exactly is the source of your agitation and tension within, and you will be taught to meet your mind with understanding, gentleness, and specific inquiry practices that facilitate personal and direct insights & revelations. These Awareness practices can powerfully return you to your inherent ‘kind mind’ which is clear and flexible.

This module brings together inquiry and awareness practices in a very practical way, that give you tools to know You, and you will leave the weekend with actionable ways to live your insights in your life as in your relationships.

Instead of the Monday practicum, this module includes a private coaching / counseling session scheduled in the month that follows.


yoga of knowledge and awareness MODULE B:

Self-Awareness, Life Coaching Skills & Course Development for Yoga Teachers

This module is an essential component for your own continued development as an individual, as you cultivate self-awareness of beliefs, attachments and the cultural programming that is influencing your words and behaviors.

Awareness of what you are thinking and believing is key to stepping outside limitations to learn to create the life you truly want to live.

From this awareness, we will teach you coaching basics - how to help your students connect to their own inner teacher and move beyond advice-giving. Weaving coaching skills into your interactions with your students will create even more connection and potential for transformation for them.

On the business side, we will go over how to create a yoga course, from curriculum development to marketing and promotion. Learning to move beyond the drop-in yoga class mentality will open you to connection, financial success and long-term relationships with those you are called to serve.
